Edo State Government has announced the appointment of Architect Fashanu Emmanuel as the new Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Edo State Flood, Erosion, and Watershed Management Agency (EDOFEWMA). The appointment, approved by His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, is immediate. Architect Fashanu will replace the outgoing CEO, Ahmed Musa Momoh, who has been relieved of his duties.
A highly experienced professional, Architect Fashanu Emmanuel brings over twenty years of expertise in architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, awarded in 1999, and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Jos, obtained in 2011. He is also a recognised Nigerian Institute of Architects (MNIA) member.
The government’s statement signed my Musa Ikhilor the Secretary to the Government, expressed confidence that Fashanu’s extensive architecture and environmental management background will significantly benefit Edo State’s efforts to address flooding, erosion, and watershed challenges.
