OUT OF SCHOOL CHILDREN: Coordinator, Office of Edo First Lady, Mrs Edesili Anani Pledges Support For Vulnerable Groups

Finding a way to reduce the number to out of school children in Edo state and support systems for women and the vulnerables are critical areas of concern for the office of Edo first lady.

 

Coordinator of the office, Mrs Edesili Anani was speaking when she received in audience caring heart foundation.

 

Correspondent Juliet Samuel Asein reports that Mrs Edesili Anani who reaffirmed commitment to supporting vulnerable groups, including women and children stressed that empowering women goes beyond economic support as It also requires mental emancipation

 

With the increasing number of out-of-school children, child labor,and spousal abuses, She pledged to do everything within legal framework to support initiatives which aims to reduce out of school children to it’s barest.

 

The Executive Director, Grace Obakina, asserting her organization has been able to give interventions for cases of sexual, gender-based violence, And with grassroots mobilization has identified young persons who are active in it’s drug-free club for students.
