Abuja – April 29, 2025
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to unite in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, warning that abandoning Tinubu’s ongoing reforms could have dire consequences for the nation.
Speaking on Monday, Keyamo emphasized that the sustainability of Tinubu’s economic and structural reforms depends on continuity in leadership beyond 2027.
“The most profound thing I will say here today is that every single APC member in this country should be concentrating on the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, irrespective of whether it affects your personal interest or not,” he said.
Keyamo, who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), warned that a change in administration could disrupt current reforms, repeating what he described as a pattern of “inchoate policies” and inconsistency in governance.
“It will be tragic for any government to come in 2027 and stop these reforms. This is what has happened in the past where you have all kinds of inchoate policies being implemented,” he added.
