The Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council, Gabriel Iduseri, has called for urgent collaboration between the council and the Edo State Security Corps to tackle the growing menace of indiscriminate parking and picking of passengers by bus drivers and motorists within the council.
This is a fallout of an on-the-spot engagement with the Edo South Zonal Commander of the State Security Corps, Jones Usoh (Rtd.)
Gabriel Iduseri who commended the efforts of the Corps in maintaining order particularly reckless warned those involved in obstructing traffic or interfering with security operations to desist immediately or face legal consequences.
Responding, Jones Usoh thanked the Oredo Council Chairman for his continued support and pledged the Corps’ commitment to work closely with the Council to restore sanity across the Locality. He assured that reports of miscreants interfering with the Corps’ duties would be thoroughly investigated and addressed.
Gabriel Iduseri’s firm stance on curbing traffic congestion, harassment of taskforce personnel, and illegal waste disposal reflects the Council’s proactive approach to improving urban order and public safety across Oredo Local Government Area.
