The internally displaced persons at the home for the needy which also serves as the IDP camp in Benin, Edo state, particularly those who were recently sent parking by some tertiary institution in the country for inability to pay their tuition fees, have appealed to government at all levels as well as well meaning individuals in the society, to come to their aid, to enable them join their peers in various schools across the country.

Despite the challenges facing the IDP camp in Uhogua Community in Ovia north-east LGA of Edo State, these few undergraduate IDPs, who having scaled through primary, secondary and equally gained admission into various tertiary institutions seem to be in for a tougher time, as they were recently sent parking from the schools due to lack of funds to pay their school fees or buy the required text books.
Soliciting support for the affected undergraduates, who are at the verge of dropping out of school, the matron of the camp, pastor Evelyn Omigie, said feeding generally has become a difficult thing, with about 5000 people, who are children and adults, to cater for.
To enable the IDPs who are mainly victims of the boko haram insurgency in parts northern Nigeria, achieve their future goals in life, it is expected that succour will soon be given.
