Governor Okpebholo Removes Acting Provost of Edo State College of Education

Benin City, April 17, 2025 — The Edo State Government has announced the immediate removal of Prof. Mrs. Roseline O. Osagie from her position as Acting Provost of the Edo State College of Education.

 

According to an official statement issued on Thursday, the directive was given by the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo.

 

In the interim, the most senior academic staff member at the college has been directed to assume the role of Acting Provost, pending the constitution of a Governing Council for the institution.

 

The announcement was signed by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., Secretary to the State Government.
