Edo State Government Applauds The Roles Of The Nigerian Air Force
Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has applauded the strategic role of the Nigerian Air force in protecting Lives and property in the country which was made possible through the unflinching support received from their wives with stabilise home front.
Governor Okpebholo made the commendation while playing host to Nigerian Air Force Officers Wives Association, Benin chapter during a courtesy visit to Government House in Benin city.
EBS Lucky Igbinoba reports that the state governor was represented by his Deputy, Dennis Idahosa.
The governor emphasized that the prayers and support accorded their husbands by the Wives of the Air Force Officers while on national assignment was instrumental to the successes recorded in dislodging the enclaves of insurgence in the country.
The Governor represented by his Deputy, Dennis Idahosa reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to partner various organisations to improve the living standard of Edo people in line with the vision of Mr. president renewed hope Agenda.
The Edo State co-ordinator, Nigerian Air force Officers Wives Association, Mrs. Valerie Onu had congratulated the Governor and his Deputy on their Electoral victory and subsequent inauguration to pilot the affairs of the State.
Mrs Onu explained that apart from catering for the Welfare of its members, the Association also carries out free medical screening exercises to complement the efforts of Government in healthcare delivery as well as visit correctional centres to indentify with the inmates and bring relief to them.
The Nigerian Air force Officers wives Association is made up of wives of the officers and men of the 81 Air maritime group in Edo State.
