Benin City, June 23, 2025 — In a strategic move to strengthen agricultural education and research in Edo State, Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the constitution of the Governing Council for the Edo State College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Iguoriakhi.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., the newly constituted Governing Council comprises the following members:
1. Anselm Ojezua, Esq. – Chairman
2. Osaigbovo Tina Isoken – Member
3. Michael Ezomoghene – Member
4. Okuogbo Godswill Akhibi – Member
5. Omonzienlen Augustus Agboya – Member
6. Peter Otuogbuma Okhaide – Member
7. Eralu Aliyu Adamu – Member
The statement further noted that the Governing Council will be officially inaugurated by Governor Okpebholo on a date to be announced later.
This development is seen as a major step in revitalizing the institution to better serve the state’s agricultural development goals and human capital growth.
