Tinubu Receives Vote of Confidence, Praises Reduction in Food Prices Ahead of Ramadan
President Bola Tinubu has asserted that the Nigerian economy is getting better and has pledged to work harder for Nigeria’s prosperity.
The President made the assertion during the National Executive Committee meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
President Tinubu who received a vote of confidence for his administration’s good performance, said the Nigerian economy was on the path to recovery as food prices are coming down ahead of Ramadan and pledged to intensify efforts for national progress.
He said he is committed to working diligently with other arms of government to ensure the greater good for Nigerians.
While commending APC governors and executives for their continued and unwavering commitment, President Tinubu thanked Nigerians for their continued belief and trust in the All-Progressives Congress (APC).
The President expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and reassured members of his commitment to delivering on the party’s progressive agenda.
He also commended the party’s National Working Committee for its performance and called for measures to end some of the crises in the states.
Party leaders also showed support for Tinubu’s policies on governance, economy, and party unity.
In attendance at the National Executive Committee meeting of the
All Progressives Congress (APC) were Vice President Kashim Shettima,
Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin and the Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abass.
Also in attendance were APC governors, led by Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma and the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.
The APC National Executive Council meeting took place a day after the party’s caucus meeting where party leaders strategized on addressing internal divisions and preparing for future electoral challenges.
