Benin City, October 14, 2025 — The Edo State Government has announced the appointment of Dr. Nosakhare Liberty Arodoe as the Acting Rector of the Edo State Polytechnic, Usen.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., the appointment was approved by the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and takes immediate effect.
Before his appointment, Dr. Arodoe served as a Lecturer at the University of Benin, Benin City, where he was actively engaged in teaching and research. He is also credited with several scholarly publications.
The Edo State Government expressed confidence that Dr. Arodoe’s academic experience and leadership qualities will contribute significantly to the continued growth and excellence of Edo State Polytechnic, Usen.
