RATTAWU EBS Chapter Issues Warning Against Cyberbullying

The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS) Chapter, has issued a formal warning to Mr. Timothy Osewengie over alleged acts of cyberbullying directed at the Acting Managing Director of EBS, Mr. Festus Alenkhe, the Edo State Government, and other individuals.

In a letter signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the union, RATTAWU described the conduct as a violation of professional ethics and detrimental to the reputation of individuals and institutions concerned.

The union demanded an immediate written apology to the Acting Managing Director within seven days and directed Mr. Osewengie to cease all forms of cyberbullying. RATTAWU further warned that failure to comply could result in legal action and referral of the matter to relevant law enforcement authorities.
