Hon. Osamwonyi Atu Elected Deputy Speaker Following Resignation of Rt. Hon. Marie Edeko

Benin City – In a major development at the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Osamwonyi Atu, member representing Orhionmwon I Constituency, has been elected as the new Deputy Speaker.

His emergence comes shortly after the resignation of Rt. Hon. Marie Edeko, who represented Esan North East II and had served as Deputy Speaker.

Atu Osamwonyi, representing Orhionmwon I, was nominated to replace Edeko and is currently delivering his acceptance speech before the Assembly.
