*GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT*
The Edo State Government wishes to inform the general public that His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Executive Governor of Edo State, has approved the suspension from office of the Commissioner for Livestock Development, Prof. Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa, and the State Project Coordinator, Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project, Mrs. Ikpikhumi Betsy Aghaku, over an official infraction.
The suspended officials are directed to hand over all official documents, records, and other government property in their possession relating to the LPRES Project to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Livestock Development, with immediate effect.
They are further directed to report to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government for a comprehensive debriefing on the LPRES Project.
