GOV HEALTH WORKERS COMMENDATION
Governor Monday Okpebholo has commended healthcare workers across Edo State for their resilience, dedication and sacrifices, describing them as vital partners in his administration’s efforts to improve healthcare delivery and build a healthier society.
The Governor gave the commendation during the seventh anniversary celebration of Edo Specialist Hospital in Benin City.
Represented by his Chief of Staff, Yakubu Musa, Governor Okpebholo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening the health sector through sustained support for institutions providing quality and affordable healthcare services to residents.
He also applauded the management and staff of Edo Specialist Hospital for their professionalism, innovation and unwavering commitment to quality patient care, noting that the hospital has continued to set high standards in specialist healthcare delivery.
In her remarks, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Anthonia Njoku, thanked the Edo State Government for its continued support, describing the administration’s investments in the health sector as a major boost to quality healthcare delivery.
She reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to providing world-class medical services and supporting the state’s vision of a stronger and more accessible healthcare system.
