EID-EL-KABIR: Idahosa Solicits Prayers For Okpebholo To Sustain Development
The Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, has urged Muslim faithful in the state not to relent in praying for Governor Monday Okpebholo to sustain the ongoing infrastructural development across Edo State.
In his Eid-el-Kabir message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, the Deputy Governor emphasized that Governor Okpebholo remains committed to delivering more dividends of democracy to the people.
Describing Eid-el-Kabir as a season that reflects the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, love, and total devotion to God, the Deputy Governor urged Muslim faithful to continue promoting peace, tolerance, compassion, and unity, stressing that such values are essential for the growth and stability of Edo State and the nation at large.
According to him, the celebration should also remind citizens, irrespective of religion or ethnic affiliation, of the need to work together for the collective progress and prosperity of the state.
Idahosa assured residents that the administration would continue to prioritize good governance, infrastructure development, youth empowerment, security, and economic growth aimed at repositioning Edo State for greater progress.
