GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Edo State Government wishes to inform the general public that the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Festus Alenkhe as the substantive Managing Director of the Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS).
Alenkhe is a seasoned broadcaster with extensive experience in journalism, media practice and public service. He has served in various leadership capacities, including Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council and Chairman, Nigerian Red Cross, Edo State Branch.
Until his appointment, Alenkhe served as the Acting Managing Director of EBS, where he demonstrated effective leadership and commitment to the advancement of the Service.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, underscores the State Government’s commitment to strengthening the leadership and professional capacity of the Edo Broadcasting Service towards enhanced service delivery to the people of Edo State.
