Edo State Governor, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Dr. Amen Ogbemudia as the Director-General of the Directorate of Education Quality Assurance (DEQA).
The appointment was made public in a special government announcement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq.
Dr. Ogbemudia is a seasoned educationist with over a decade of experience in educational management and administration. She holds a B.Sc. Ed (Accounting) from Benson Idahosa University, as well as a Master’s and Ph.D. in Educational Management and Administration from the University of Benin.
In addition to her academic qualifications, she is described as a creative writer, capacity builder, strategy developer, and motivational speaker.
This appointment underscores the Okpebholo administration’s commitment to raising educational standards and ensuring quality assurance in Edo’s school system.
