BENIN CITY, Nigeria — The Edo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, has called on eligible indigenes of the state who are interested in joining the Nigerian Armed Forces to participate in the upcoming Nigerian Defence Academy Screening Test (NDAST) for the 77 Regular Course.
In a statement issued in Benin City on Friday, Ohonbamu disclosed that the screening test, initially scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2025, has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 14, 2025, and will hold at designated centers across the country by 0700hrs.
Quoting a release signed by Brigadier General O.A. Ogunleye on behalf of the Commandant, Office of the Academy Registrar, Ohonbamu noted that Edo State remains one of the officially approved centers for the screening.
“The Nigerian Defence Academy is one of the primary means through which citizens are admitted into the Armed Forces of Nigeria,” the statement added.
He urged interested candidates to take advantage of the opportunity and ensure full participation in the exercise.
