Benin City, June 10, 2025 — The Edo State Government has approved the appointment of a five-member management team for the newly established New Edo Line Ltd. The appointments were made in line with the directive of the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, as the company prepares to commence operations on June 27, 2025.
According to an official announcement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Iklilor, Esq., the new appointees and their respective roles are as follows:
1. Imuetinyan Otuomagie – Managing Director/CEO
2. Sunday Anetor – General Manager (Administration)
3. Henry Ozara Obozoakhai – General Manager (Operations)
4. Opitoke Marian – General Manager (Finance and Accounts)
5. Ugberaese Sylvester Osezua – Company Secretary
The government stated that the newly appointed team has been charged with leveraging their expertise and experience to ensure effective and efficient service delivery as the company begins its operations.
“The appointments take immediate effect,” the statement concluded.
The New Edo Line Ltd is expected to play a significant role in revitalizing public transportation and enhancing mobility within Edo State and beyond.
