The EBS Board
The future development of EBS is guided by its Board of Directors, comprising high ranking technocrats, academics and professionals.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors is Mr Gamaliel Onosode, OFR, a man widely respected and celebrated in the corporate world. His Boardroom experience is very rich and diverse having served as Chairman of several quoted companies including Dunlop Nigeria Plc and Cadbury Nigeria Plc. He had also served at various times as the Pro-Chancellor of University of Uyo, University of Ibadan, and University of Lagos.
Other members of the Board of Directors are, Professor Stephen Letza, PhD, FCA, FRSA, Professor of Corporate Governance and Director of The European Centre of Corporate Governance; AWA Ibraheem, PhD, FCA, the Managing Partner ICMA Services Ltd, a financial and management consultancy firm; Professor James Kirkbride a Professor of Law and Dr. Remilekun Bakare, PhD, MBA , BSc , FCA, FCCA, FCIB, FCS, FCTI, the Director-General/CEO.
The Director-General/CEO
The day to day management of the School rests on the Director-General/CEO, Dr Remilekun Bakare. He has a PhD in Corporate Governance, Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor in Financial Services. In addition, Dr Bakare is a Fellow of the following professional bodies: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK; Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria; The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria; The Chartered Institute of Bankers, London; The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

Dr Bakare has about 30 years post qualification experience spanning the academics, consultancy and the financial services industry. He was the Pioneer Registrar/Chief Executive of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria, a position he held for twelve years until his voluntary retirement in March 2007 to set up the Executive Business School. Dr Bakare had at various times lectured at Post Graduate Schools of ESUT Business School and Olabisi Onabanjo University both in Nigeria.
